Commercial
Terminals, civic buildings, childcare centers, EMS space, light industrial and renovation work on buildings older than most of the codes.
Twenty four feet of wall with nothing in the middle of it.
Our press runs to eight feet wide and twenty four feet long. On a commercial elevation that means long clear runs, very few vertical joints and a lot less time spent detailing and sealing them.
The envelope shows up as a kit. Openings are cut, bevels are cut, roof pitch is cut, and every piece is numbered against the plan. A general contractor can schedule the set the way they would schedule a steel delivery, because it behaves like one.
We are a smaller company than the large northern manufacturers and we run the same class of press. What you get instead of a national account team is the person who priced your job answering the phone during the set.
What changes on your schedule and what does not.
Dry-in moves left
Framing, sheathing and insulation collapse into one operation. On most of our commercial jobs the shell closes in weeks earlier than a framed equivalent, which pulls mechanical, electrical and finishes forward and takes months off the general conditions line.
Crew size drops
You need a lift and a small competent crew rather than a full framing package. If framers in your market are booked out, this is often the reason panels win rather than the price.
Coordination moves earlier
The tradeoff is honest. Chases, penetrations and hold-downs get decided at the panel plan stage, not in the field with a sawzall. Bring us in during design development and that is a benefit. Bring us in at bid and it is a scramble.
Approvals stay boring
ICC-NTA listing report, our own code report and the SIPA report. Engineering stamped in the project state. Third party audited quality system since 2010. Plan reviewers rarely have a question we have not answered before.
An 1800s synagogue in Sag Harbor needed a new shell without losing its face.
Panels are useful on old buildings for the same reason they are useful on new ones. You can bring a nineteenth century structure to a modern envelope standard without adding six inches of assembly and without rebuilding the elevation.
Bill Chaleff of Chaleff and Rogers led that project. Complex renovations are where a manufacturer that will get on the phone matters more than a manufacturer with a bigger catalog.

Design development or construction documents both work. Tell us the jurisdiction and your target dry-in date and we will tell you whether the schedule holds.
